Writers Groups
If you are part of a writers group and would like us to supply a local tutor for a one off session, or you would like an author to come in and give a talk, then please feel free to contact us to discuss it in detail. Our rates are £75, plus the tutor fee, and we will take the time to find the right person for your group requirements.

Young Writer's Creative Writing Workshop
Date: Saturday 31 March 2012
Time: 10 am to 3 pm
Age group: 10 - 16 year olds
Fee: £30
A day spent exploring the rudiments of writing imaginative fiction. Learn the tools to create believable characters and how to devise plots and settings. There will be lots of opportunity to play words games to stimulate creativity and interact within group settings. Bring your words to life in this fun filled workshop.

Children's Story Pitch Event

Writing for Television Workshop

A one day workshop on how to write scripts for television. Learn about character development, writing treatments, how to present your work to television producers and the terminology used in script writing.
You will have the chance to analyse scripts in detail, used in a variety of television programmes and shows, and you will also be given the chance to have your work reviewed and assessed.
Discover the best routes into the television industry and pick up some relevant tips on the way.
