Wendy O'Brien
I am 43 years old and live in beautiful Devon with my lovely partner Mick, my gorgeous daughter Milly (7!) and our three adorable pussy cats. I enjoy exercising at our local gym, good food (hence the gym!) work (oddly enough!) and spending time with my family and friends.
I have worked in the world of writing for just over 20 years and I thoroughly enjoy my job and being involved in the writing industry. I'm an avid reader, and a keen book fan, and although I have a hectic working life, once I have the opportunity then I love nothing more than reading a good book. Milly also loves reading, and is becoming an independent reader, and we spend quality time reading together especially at bedtime.
I have never written a book myself, lack of time being my main excuse, but one day I hope to be able to put that excuse aside and start writing. When I do, a competition like this would be wonderful, someone to read and comment on the work I have done and MAYBE even win a prize!
I am really looking forward to reading the books that you write and giving what I hope will be some helpful comments on your work.
