Self Published Book Award Rules
• The Self Published Book Award is open to all nationalities.
• All book entries must be in English.
• Entrants must be over 18 years old.
• The entry fee is £25 per submission.
• The Author must submit two copies of their book.
• Books with or without an ISBN number are accepted.
• Fiction and non-fiction books are accepted.
• You can submit as many books as you like along with the correct entry fee.
• Cheques, postal orders or bankers draft must be in pound sterling and made out to Chapter One Promotions.
• You can pay online by using the secure Paypal link provided.
• Payments made online, where the books are then posted, must include the date and time of the online payment along with their contact details.
• Details of the book(s) can be given online via Paypal in the section entitled 'Self Published Book Title(s) here'.
• For full postal submissions include your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address and book title on a separate sheet of paper.
• Co-written entries are permitted.
• For co-written entries details of all writers must be submitted.
• The prize is £500 for winning the Self Published Book Award.
• A self published book that has subsequently been taken on by a mainstream publisher is not permitted.
• The prize money will be issued in the winner's local currency within three months after an agreement has been signed and returned.
• Previous winners are not permitted to enter the following competition.
• The deadline for submissions is at midnight on Thursday 28th February 2013.
• Only the winners will be notified by post.
• A list of winners will be available to view on the website on Tuesday 31 December 2013.
• To acknowledge the safe arrival of your book(s), include a self stamped addressed postcard.
• For notification of the winner, send a second class stamped sae to Chapter One Promotions marked, 'Self Published Book Award Winner 2013 '.
