Poetry Competition 2007

iStock_african setting.jpgThe 2007 Poetry Competition proved yet again to produce a bumper selection of poems to whet the appetite and tantalise the senses. Poems in all shapes and sizes that covered many depths of emotions and subjects were treated sensitively and with originality.

Seasoned poet and performer Jacob Sam-La Rose revelled in the task of judging all the entries and announced the top twenty to be displayed.

The top three poems where chosen by the public as their favourites and are shown below.  Please, judge for yourselves.
