Poetry Competition 2009
Thank you to everyone who entered our Poetry Competition and to those who took the time to peruse through the array of poetry on display as chosen by our judge Linda Lee Welch.
For two weeks the public cast their votes online reading through the assortment of poetry on our website and selected their number one choice.
So, without further ado we are pleased to announce the three winners as:
In First Place: Siân Thomas Lupercalia
In Second Place: Graham Burchell How Soon
In Third Place: Ali Tevfik Tokdemir Mixed-up Pixies At An Exhibition
This year's Lucky Voter who wins £100 just for voting is Sheneise Stone.
Browse through comments made by Linda on this year's winning entries, on the standard of poems received and her thoughts on how to create memorable pieces. Linda will also be running a one day workshop for us on the art of writing great poetry in March 2010.
