Poetry Competition 2006

iStock_chess.jpgThe Open Poetry Competition 2006 array of entries was chosen by the celebrated poet Anna Robinson from the highly original and inspirational poems received.  Anna, who is also the judge for the annual Koestler Competition, considered the merits of each poem before deciding on the top twenty that were judged to be the best.  For two weeks the public placed their votes online and chose their favourites.

Read the winning poems below and discover more about the poets themselves.
