Baden Prince Junior

Baden Prince Junior is a London-based writer, poet and performer.  His credits include appearances at Express Excess, Pure Poetry and Shortfuse, among many other venues and events.

Baden graduated from the University of East Anglia, Norwich, with an Honours degree in English & American Literature.

He has a strong interest in memoir and the fictionalised presentation of personal stories. Baden is a member of an online writers’ community which specialises in “Flash” (shortened) memoirs. One of his pieces, “The Bag Man,” has been published in The Rose & Thorn, an online literary magazine.

Baden has run several workshops and writing projects with diverse groups, including refugees and mental health service users. To date, these have resulted in three anthologies of writing and a performance poetry CD, all of which Baden has compiled and edited.

He also runs monthly family workshops as part of the Museum in Dockland’s Community Education programme, as well as courses for Apples & Snakes, Spread the Word, tall-lighthouse (sic) publishing company, and on a freelance basis.

Baden is currently Writer in Residence with the London Borough of Havering’s Library Service.
